COOKING WITH LUCIA
Each session will include a talk about nutrition and healthy eating. Throughout the programme the children will learn through “taste and smell” samples. They will learn about where food comes from eg. milk, eggs and flour. Also, foods from around the world, foods for Celebration, how to use basic utensils, skills such as chopping, rolling, sifting etc. They will learn about team building through their cooking activities. Follow on art activities will be incorporated eg. Egg Painting for Easter.

Iced Ginger Bread Horses, Irish Scones, Chocolate Brownies, Hansel and Gretel cake, Red Nose Muffins, Valentine Heart Biscuits, Pizzas, Bread, Bread Sticks and Buns, Apple Tart, Very Berry and Chocolate Chip Muffins, Fruit Skewers, Strawberry Lollies, Fairy Cupcakes, Birthday Cake, Mother’s Day Butterfly Cupcakes, Easter Bunnies and Chickens Biscuits and St Patricks Day Pratties!
